Permanent makeup

This type of makeup is one of the most popular treatments today. It consists in introducing the pigment selected during the pre-treatment consultation into the dermis. The technique of machine injection of an organic dye into the skin allows for an immediate, natural and visible pigmentation effect.

During the consultation, a comprehensive skin analysis is performed, which allows for the optimal selection of the pigmentation technique. Permanent makeup is permanent, but there are several aspects that affect its durability:

• type of skin (oily skin is harder to saturate with color)
• age – the more mature the skin, the longer the keratinization process is and the pigment lasts longer
• UV radiation – in people who are less exposed to the sun – make-up lasts longer
• use of exfoliating treatments
• epidermis regeneration process
• metabolism

Permanent makeup is a very safe procedure, performed under local anaesthesia to increase the client’s comfort.

Contraindications:

• break in the continuity of the epidermis at the site of pigmentation
• skin diseases
• preposition to hypertrophic scars
• herpes
• viral / fungal infections
• tumours
• radio / chemotherapy

Immediately after the treatment, the pigment saturation is much more intense, but it is not the end result. The process of peeling the epidermis lasts from 7 to 14 days. It is very important to avoid sun exposure during this time, and handle the pigmented area gently (not tear off the flaking epidermis with the pigment). After this time, we can notice a significant lightening of the treated area, then for the next two weeks the dye is stabilizes. In some cases when the assimilation of the dye with the skin is slowed, it is recommended to pigment the area.
